Animal was established in 1987 by two surfers and it all started with a watch strap! They wanted a watch strap that would stay on in extreme surfing conditions and the solution was in the form a webbing and hook and loop strap that seemed to put an end to their problems. The strap became a huge success and the Animal brand quickly evolved. Animal is now a design-led sports brand, boasting an extensive team of riders in each of its core sports. These are surfing, snowboarding, wind surfing, mountain biking and kite surfing. Our rider-refined programme means all products are tried and tested by the Animal pro team before hitting the shops. Animal has now grown into the UK’s fasting growing action sports brands, producing clothing, watches, eyewear, footwear, luggage and accessories.

Animal produces a wide range of sport and leisure clothing for Men, Ladies and Kids which are extremely popular with locals and tourist alike. We look forward to seeing you! Animal products are also sold in Anns Cottage – shops can be found all in Padstow, Wadebridge, Polzeath, Bude, Falmouth, Fistral and in our two stores at St Columb – the Cornwall Surf Centre and the Anns Cottage Clearance Warehouse.
