Type: Festival

Come along to Bodmin and see the town's people celebrating and commemorating St Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall. The day begins outside the library with a procession. There will be a performance of songs, dances and plays associated with the rich cultural history of Cornwall.

Morning Procession - by the local school children
10:15 am Assemble Lower Bore Street, Bodmin outside the library
10:30 am March down Lower Bore St, Fore Street to Mount Folly stopping at the Flamank Stone – accompanied by Cornish Piper Band led by Mervyn Davey
Mount Folly Speakers Introduced by Bodmin Town Crier, Nick Prideaux:

11:10 am Children progress via Priory Park to St Petrocs Church where they will perform Cornish plays and songs. Refreshments available in Shire House, Bodmin
12:15 am Lunch for children in the Public Rooms

From the A30 take the sliproad to Bodmin and follow the signs to the town centre.
