Although the Strand is listed as apartments they are more like town houses as they occupy three floors each offering magnificent views over Padstow harbour and the Camel Estuary. Often featured in photos of Padstow the listed red brick and cream building have been recently updated and improved to present contemporary accommodation which is clean, comfortable and convenient.
The Strand apartments are well equipped with full central heating, free internet access, digital TV and DVD, dishwasher, washer/drier etc. Children are welcome and we have a cot and high chair available free of charge. The Strand is non-smoking and we do not accept pets.
We welcome guests at any time of year offering weekly breaks normally with a Friday changeover. We also offer out of season short breaks with a minimum stay of 3 nights. A parking pass is included in the price, as is bed linen, gas/electricity and wifi. Credit cards accepted.
In a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Padstow with its picturesque mixture of narrow streets, tiny cottages, inns, cafés and restaurants and a superb range of individual shops, has evolved around its bustling harbour and quayside. Though much of the fish and seafood landed goes from here to fish markets around the country there's always more than enough left for local consumption and for the town's renowned seafood restaurants.
Surrounded by rugged cliffs, hidden coves and stunning beaches, Padstow and its immediate area, offers much for the visitor. Walk the coastal path, surf the waves, visit any of a number of renowned houses and gardens, take a boat trip along the coast, cycle the Camel Trail, or spend an hour or two in the sunshine watching the fishermen mend their nets. But take your time - there's much more from which to choose.
