Sandbanks is a unique home on three levels offering delightful family accommodation with panoramic views from the upstairs lounge and dining/kitchen area of the Camel Estuary. This incorporates to the south - Cant Hill, Porthilly, Rock, Brae Hill and to Daymer Bay in the north of the estuary.
It is situated a short walk away from the harbour, restaurants, shops and the camel trail. Local sandy beaches, coastal footpaths, crazy golf, water sports and Prideaux Place are also within walking distance.
Sandbanks consists of 1double ensuite,1kingsize ensuite,1supersize/2 single 3'beds ensuite, and a family bathroom with pshaped shower bath all on main floor, while downstairs there is a supersize/2single 3' bedded room which has a door that opens out onto the rear patio. There is restricted height in this room All bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes and clothes storage space, hairdryer and TV. A fully fitted kitchen with plenty of storage facilities, gas hob in a centre island, double oven, combination microwave, dishwasher, cd/radio and an American style fridge/freezer with ice-making facilities. The dining area offers views of the estuary while being very well equipped to cater for ten.
The lounge is situated upstairs and is well furnished with settees, childrens chairs/beanbags, coffee tables, lamps and a sofa bed. Colour TV, DVD/Video, CD/Digital radio, X box, books and games are provided for your use as well as a selection of tourist leaflets. French doors open to a Juliette balcony offering magnificent views of the estuary (care must be taken with young children in this area) a contemporary pebble effect fire completes this room.
Outside to the rear:
Utility room which consists of a washing machine, tumble dryer, WC and sink. there is storage for wet suits, body boards, bicycles. (Hose for washing wet suits is in an adjoining store room).
Secluded patio garden on two levels - pebbled with pot plants. It is furnished with a table, chairs, parasol and barbecues ideal for making the most of eating outdoors, relaxing with a book or a well earned drink or two.
To front:
Off road parking for 2/3 cars. Gas central heating and electricity are included.
Travel cot (no linen) and highchair are provided.
Bedding - all season duvets (tog 10.5 + 4.5) and pillows are provided. Linen and towels are available but please bring your own beach towels. Please mention when booking whether you want the supersize double or two single beds prepared.
Sandbanks is strictly non smoking and pets by arrangement with agents Cole Rayment White 01841533962).
Changeover day is Friday during the main season but special breaks are available at other times if property is available. Occupancy is from 3.00pm on day of arrival. Departure is by 10.00am prompt to enable our cleaning staff to carry out their job properly.
